The Winter Solstice is energetically the most yin time of the year. The time of the deep feminine that calls us to stillness. Ancestrally speaking this was a time to retreat, rest and rejuvenate. Join Juno Co-Founder Liana, Juno Woman and ceremonialist Samantha Markby de Lugo and sound healer, on December 22nd, to step out of the busyness of Christmas and nourish yourself in circle and ceremony. Instead of buying the last presents and ticking jobs from your unending list - gift yourself with time. Time to rest in the feminine and regenerate your energy. Take part in an ancient ritual, reflect on the year past, soothe your nervous system with yin yoga, nidra and sound alchemy. Create a baseline of calm and solace in your soul that you can return to throughout the holiday season ✨What to bring? Just yourself, comfortable clothes and a notebook or journal to respond to reflective prompts. What to expect? We will welcome you with hot tea and a holiday themed space, next we settle into the cozy Juno Studio and you will enjoy a relaxing guided experience and a little special treat to take home.Who can join? Feel free to bring partners, friends or even children who would enjoy the stillness of a longer resting practice. What is a Sound Bath? The sound bowls will be played live to surround you with their deeply healing notes which will tune, activate and balance each energy center on a cellular level through their vibrations. In addition, the bowls put the mind into an alpha and theta brainwave state which is commonly known as a state of deep peace, meditation and deep relaxation. As each energy center (Chakra) is cleared the energy will move more freely and ultimately bringing more alignment into your life. What is Yin Yoga?Yin yoga is a slow paced and deeply relaxing practice where we maintain longer holds in our poses while using all the props available to ensure a level of comfort and ease. The end result is a powerful relaxation of the nervous system and a deep stretch achieved through soft movements. Open to all levels and requires zero experience.
